Moodle: I really liked using this software because it allows communication between teacher and student in and out of class. I think it is a great way to monitor progress in class and it also gives a breakdown on grading and overall activities and assignments that should be completed by the end of the course. I like this tool because I know what I have done and what grade I received for that particular assignment and it also entails what I have not done. Overall rating: 5
FireFox: I found FireFox to be easy to use; I did not have problems navigating through sites nor was the language any different than any other internet gateways. It was easy to control and navigate through various tabs or windows. Overall rating: 5
Del.icio.us: This tool was okay to use. There was nothing on this site that caught my eye. It is plain and simple to use, but all in all it was basically a site that tags websites or articles, and stores it online for future use. It is much similar to book marking, but this site also informs you on how many people have tagged this site and allows you to network with other people and share tags. I found this website difficult to use on campus because all the logging in I had to do, but it was easier to work on tagging at home. The language was simple and easy to understand and there were no technical terms to learn. Overall rating: 3
Google suites (gmail, interactive docs, Blogger, Google Pages): Google was user friendly and easy to learn. Although in order to use any tool offered by Google you needed to have a Gmail account. So, I had to apply for an account with Gmail in order to access any of the online tools such as the Blogger and Google Pages. The language is easy to understand, but in order understand how the sites work; you would have to play around with the buttons and explore what it can or cannot do. I also encountered a few problems with Google Pages, which caused so much stress. I found these tools to be okay. Overall Rating: 3
BricaBox: This tool is not user friendly. I found this website hard to follow and understand. When logged on the website, it is overwhelming, and it also has a lot of things going on, on the home page which can be very uninviting. When I visited the site for the first time I did not know how to navigate my way around the site. The language is simple but it does not entail much. Overall Rating: 2
Protopage: I had fun using this page. It is easy to use and the language to make a webpage is not hard to follow. It has many accessories that can be put onto a page and can be customized to your liking. This page is a great way for a student to make notes for themselves, to do lists that they can follow, and email updates. It is a creative way to convert a “manual” daily planner and convert it to be online. Overall Rating: 5
SlideShare: This tech tool was interesting. I did not know that this was available online. This site is available to anyone and easy to use. It is free to sign up, allows anyone to upload slide shows from PowerPoint or keynote and it converts the slides for you. It even gives you the option whether or not to share your slide shows with others. Overall rating: 5
Diigo: I did not really like this site. I found it rather difficult to use and navigate through. However this application is free of charge and all you got to do is sign up. It allows you to bookmark websites. Overall rating: 2
